Sex Work & Policy in the Netherlands
In this dissertation by Celine Soeter, interviews were held with various interest groups for sex work in the Netherlands.
The aim is to find out to what extent these organizations agree with the current sex work policy, the proposed Sex Work Regulation Act (Wrs), and what their role is in the policy-making process.
The thesis contains a literature study that is divided into two sections. The first part examines relevant literature on existing approaches to sex work policy and how the Dutch policy approach fits into this. The second section provides an overview of relevant literature on concepts such as participatory policy making, advocacy, and public acceptance. The thesis then presents the findings of the interviews in the analysis.
